Pages, children and grandchildren

Pages with no parent will appear as topmost items in the navigation.

Pages with a parent will appear as sub-pages in the navigation.

Up to three levels will be displayed in the page navigation hierarchy.

Use the Order page attribute to order sub-pages under a parent. This is also true for parents. If you move a parent to somewhere else in the hierarchy, all of its sub-pages (and sub-pages of those sub-pages) will also be moved.
